Of lately:
Here's the hand-coloured version of it:
Although my aquarelle-technique is embarrassingly bad, this one has some home-made charm to it. I wasn't sure about the colour of the ocean first, but now I love the coldness and crispness of it. And I will get better with water colours, I just have to.. It's kind of nice to have a finished piece that you can actually hold in your hands.

WAY TOO AWESOME! I really love the color combo here. This is maarit at her best!
I think both work very well! What I like about the Photoshop one is how you preserved the paper texture. It´s overall more graphic and has a smooth golden hue over it.
The hand-coloured works well, too, the character has more "depth" to it (although I prefer your characters without eyeballs, can´t say why - I do this myself ;))and has more of a "painting" feeling.
My own drawing are so heavily edited at times that the original has little to do with the digital results, which is a bit sad at times, but, oh well...
Cheers,
Frederik
(Also - too bad it´s a dude, nice feminie curves!)
Thank you both! I like the colours myself, in both versions.
Here's my secret on the paper texture; I actually scan the drawing in as a black and white linedrawing and add the texture in later. All computer magic. And finally, good news; it's not actually a dude, it's a lady with a beard. So you can keep admiring the curves! Although I like that people make up their own stories about the images, I make them kind of vague on purpose.
