Illustration Friday - Signs

I promised I'd do something solely inspired by the IF topic, so here it is. Although now that I look at it, I think it's mostly symbols, not signs. Always the rebel.

Yes I see what you mean about signs v symbols, but I like it very much anyway!

Uuh boy! You´ve been busy since the last time I visited your blog. All three new pieces are excellent. I like the way you work with contrast and shades, and the quality of your drawings show in both the sketches and the finished works. You also do have a certain nordic flavour in your works (but don´t ask me why this is, it´s just...there!).

The "Girls in a tree" piece is really well done, the gradient background gives it a nice, glowing touch. If you maintain this kind of energy I think you will be going somewhere great (and I don´t say this lightly). I mean, your work is pretty consistent, and in your case that´s a plus.

I am looking forward to your future works! Keep it up,
Frederik

(PS. Have you already seen Illustration Friday Night? I have it linked on the very top on my linklist (above my profile), it´s a very interesting blog-community and I think it would suit you, too!)

And PPS, I am logged in under my IFN account, that´s why my profile picture is missing. I wasn´t smart enough to register there with the SAME account, so I don´t have both blogs under one user name o_O
